Description

Ingredients

Sugar Mixture:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup water

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw or dry roasted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Cook Sugar Mixture: In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Stir until sugar dissolves and boil until it reaches 300°F.
  3. Add Peanuts: Stir in peanuts and cook until mixture reaches hard crack stage.
  4. Finish & Cool: Remove from heat, add remaining ingredients, pour onto baking sheet, spread, cool, and break into pieces.
