Ingredients
For the Cinnamon Sugar Crumble
- 1/4 cup cold butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Dash of salt
- 1/2 cup flour
For the Base
- 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (8 triangles)
For the Vanilla Glaze
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp softened butter
- 1-1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s hot enough to bake the cinnamon-sugar pizza to a golden brown.
- Prepare Crumble Mixture: In a mixing bowl, cut the cold butter into the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and flour until the mixture becomes crumbly like coarse crumbs.
- Arrange Dough and Add Topping: Separate the crescent roll dough into 8 triangles and lay them flat on an ungreased cookie sheet. Evenly sprinkle the prepared cinnamon sugar crumble over each triangle.
- Bake: Place the cookie sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 8 to 12 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and the crumble looks set.
- Make the Vanilla Glaze: While the pizza cools slightly, combine powdered sugar, softened butter, vanilla extract, and milk in a small bowl. Stir until smooth, adjusting the consistency by adding more powdered sugar if needed to get a drizzle-ready glaze.
- Serve: Drizzle the vanilla glaze over the baked cinnamon-sugar crescents and serve warm or at room temperature for a delicious treat.
Notes
- You can substitute Pillsbury Crescent Rolls with any flaky crescent dough available in your grocery store.
- For a stronger cinnamon flavor, increase the cinnamon to 1/2 tsp in the crumble mixture.
- If you prefer a thicker glaze, add more powdered sugar; for a thinner glaze, add more milk a teaspoon at a time.
- Serve this treat fresh out of the oven or at room temperature; refrigerated leftovers can be warmed slightly in the oven or microwave.
