Ingredients
For the shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
For serving:

Instructions
- Prepare the marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, cilantro, garlic, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill: Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the shrimp: Thread the shrimp onto skewers and grill for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
- Serve: Remove from the grill and serve immediately with lime wedges and fresh cilantro.
