Ingredients
For the French toast:
- 8 thick slices brioche or Texas toast
 - 3 large eggs
 - 3/4 cup milk
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - Pinch of salt
 - 2 tablespoons butter (for frying)
 
For the cinnamon sugar coating:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
 - 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
 - 2 tablespoons melted butter
 
For the cream cheese icing:
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 2 to 3 tablespoons milk (as needed for drizzling consistency)
 
Instructions
- Prepare the French toast: In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Cook the bread slices in butter until golden brown.
 - Coat with cinnamon sugar: Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. Brush toast with melted butter and coat with the sugar mixture.
 - Make the cream cheese icing: Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.
 - Drizzle and serve: Drizzle the icing over the French toast and enjoy warm.
