Ingredients
Sugar Cookie Truffles:
- 2 ½ cups crushed sugar cookies
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Coating:
- 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted
- Red and green sprinkles for decorating
Instructions
- Prepare the Truffle Mixture: In a large bowl, combine crushed sugar cookies, softened cream cheese, and vanilla extract until a soft dough forms.
- Shape the Truffles: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
- Coat with White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, tapping off the excess, then return to the baking sheet.
- Decorate: Immediately top with red and green sprinkles before the coating sets.
- Chill and Serve: Chill in the refrigerator until firm before serving.
Notes
- You can use store-bought or homemade sugar cookies for this recipe.
- For a festive twist, use peppermint extract instead of vanilla.
