Ingredients
Base Ingredients
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
Mix-ins
- 2 cups dry roasted peanuts
- 1 ½ cups mini pretzel twists, lightly crushed
- 1 cup red and green holiday M&Ms
Optional Toppings
- Festive sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Baking Sheets: Line two baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent clusters from sticking.
- Melt Chocolate: In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
- Combine Peanut Butter: Stir the creamy peanut butter into the melted white chocolate until the mixture is fully combined and creamy.
- Add Mix-ins: Incorporate the dry roasted peanuts and crushed pretzel twists into the chocolate-peanut butter mixture, stirring until all are evenly coated.
- Fold in M&Ms: Gently fold in about three-quarters of the red and green M&Ms, reserving the remaining M&Ms for topping the clusters later.
- Form Clusters: Drop heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them slightly apart to allow for setting.
- Top Clusters: Place a few extra M&Ms and optional festive sprinkles on top of each cluster for decoration.
- Chill and Set: Refrigerate the baking sheets for 30 to 45 minutes until the clusters are fully set and firm.
Notes
- Store clusters in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week to keep them fresh.
- You can substitute white almond bark or candy melts for the white chocolate chips if desired.
- These clusters make great gifts and are perfect for holiday cookie trays.
