Ingredients
Cookie Dough:
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Additional Mix-Ins:
- 1 cup red and green holiday M&M’s
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup festive sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
- Combine mix-ins: Fold in the M&M’s, white chocolate chips, and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Spread in pan: Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Sprinkle with festive sprinkles and gently press them into the dough.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Cool and slice: Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
