Description

Chris’s Hawaiian Fluff Salad is a delightful tropical fruit salad with a creamy, fluffy texture that’s perfect as a side dish or dessert. This easy-to-make recipe is filled with pineapple, mandarin oranges, cherries, coconut, nuts, pudding mix, whipped topping, and marshmallows for a sweet and refreshing treat.

Ingredients

Canned Fruits:

  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can (15 ounces) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries, halved and drained

Other Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Combine Fruits: In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained pineapple, mandarin oranges, and cherries.
  2. Add Pudding Mix: Sprinkle the dry vanilla pudding mix over the fruit and stir until evenly coated.
  3. Include Coconut and Nuts: Gently fold in the shredded coconut and nuts.
  4. Mix in Whipped Topping: Add the whipped topping and mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add Marshmallows: Stir in the mini marshmallows until fully combined.
  6. Chill and Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Enjoy chilled as a side dish or dessert.

Notes

  • For extra tropical flavor, use coconut pudding mix instead of vanilla.
  • You can also substitute macadamia nuts for a true Hawaiian twist.
  • Best enjoyed the same day but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
