Ingredients
Cheesecake Mousse:
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Whipped Cream:
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream (cold)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional Topping:
- Chocolate shavings or crushed hazelnuts
Instructions
- Cheesecake Mousse: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add Nutella, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until fluffy.
- Whipped Cream: Whip cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the Nutella mixture in batches.
- Assembly: Spoon or pipe the mousse into serving cups. Chill for at least 1 hour. Top with chocolate shavings or hazelnuts.
Notes
- For a stronger Nutella flavor, add up to 2 extra tablespoons of Nutella.
- This mousse can be made a day in advance and stored covered in the fridge.
