Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Place the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form. Transfer to a bowl and mix with melted butter until fully combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, creating an even layer. Place in the refrigerator to chill while preparing the next layer.
- Make the Cream Cheese Layer: In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and milk. Beat until smooth and creamy with no lumps. Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until combined. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust, being careful not to disturb it. Return to the refrigerator.
- Assemble the Chocolate Pudding Layer: In another mixing bowl, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for 2–3 minutes until the mixture begins to thicken. Let it set briefly, then gently spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer. Chill again for about 10 minutes to set.
- Add the Whipped Topping: Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the pudding layer. For a decorative touch, sprinkle mini chocolate chips or chocolate shavings on top.
- Chill and Serve: Cover the baking dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to allow the layers to set. Slice and serve chilled for best texture.
