Ingredients
Pie Crust:
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust
Filling:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt chocolate and butter: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and butter until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Prepare filling: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, sugars, vanilla, and salt. Slowly add melted chocolate mixture. Stir in pecans.
