Description

Indulge in the rich, decadent flavors of this Chocolate Fudge Pecan Pie. A luscious blend of chocolate, pecans, and a buttery crust makes this dessert a standout at any gathering.

Ingredients

Pie Crust:

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust

Filling:

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt chocolate and butter: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and butter until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Prepare filling: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, sugars, vanilla, and salt. Slowly add melted chocolate mixture. Stir in pecans.
  4. Bake: Pour filling into pie crust. Bake for 55–65 minutes until set. Cover edges with foil if browning too quickly.
  5. Cool and serve: Let pie cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Enhance flavor by toasting pecans before adding to the pie.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra touch.
  • Pie can be made a day ahead and stored at room temperature.
