Description

Indulge in the rich, chocolatey goodness of these decadent Chocolate Fudge Cookies. With a soft and chewy texture, they are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth cravings.

Ingredients

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (for folding in)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the batter: In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and melted chocolate. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Bake the cookies: Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets. Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are set. Cool on the pan before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For extra richness, add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt before baking.
  • Do not overbake as cookies will continue to set as they cool.
