- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips, plus more for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Prepare the batter: In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, sugars, melted butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the pan, top with additional chocolate chips, and bake for 35–40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
