Ingredients

Pretzel Base:

  • 2 cups mini pretzels (roughly crushed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Caramel Layer:

  • 1 (11 oz) bag caramel candies (unwrapped)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Chocolate Topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Flaky sea salt for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pretzel Base: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter. Press mixture into the pan and refrigerate.
  2. Make Caramel Layer: Melt caramel candies with heavy cream, pour over pretzel base, and chill.
  3. Add Chocolate Topping: Melt chocolate chips, pour over caramel layer, and sprinkle with sea salt. Refrigerate until firm.
  4. Serve: Slice into bars and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use natural peanut butter for a softer base or crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
  • Store bars in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
