Dressing Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine Salad Ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, add shredded cooked chicken, Napa cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, snap peas, green onions, and chopped cilantro. Toss gently to mix the ingredients evenly.
- Prepare Dressing. In a small bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and a pinch of salt and pepper until fully combined and smooth.
- Toss Salad with Dressing. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture. Toss thoroughly but gently to coat all the ingredients evenly with the dressing.
- Add Crunchy Toppings. Just before serving, sprinkle toasted sliced almonds, sesame seeds if using, and crispy wonton strips or chow mein noodles on top to add texture and crunch.
- Serve Immediately. Serve the salad fresh to enjoy the crisp textures and vibrant flavors at their best.
