Golden, flaky crescent rolls filled with a creamy, cheesy chicken mixture. Quick to prepare and crowd-pleasing, they make the perfect comfort food for dinners, parties, or snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 can crescent roll dough (full-size)
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Optional: extra cheddar, garlic powder, parsley, or paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of filling at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up from the wide end, tucking sides as you go. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush each roll with melted butter. Sprinkle with optional garnishes like cheese or garlic powder if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and puffy. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Swap cheddar for Monterey Jack, mozzarella, or pepper jack for a twist.
- Great with a side salad, roasted vegetables, or soup.
- Make ahead and refrigerate unbaked rolls up to 12 hours; bake straight from fridge with slightly longer cook time.
