Description

Golden, flaky crescent rolls filled with a creamy, cheesy chicken mixture. Quick to prepare and crowd-pleasing, they make the perfect comfort food for dinners, parties, or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (full-size)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Optional: extra cheddar, garlic powder, parsley, or paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of filling at the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll up from the wide end, tucking sides as you go. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush each roll with melted butter. Sprinkle with optional garnishes like cheese or garlic powder if desired.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and puffy. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Swap cheddar for Monterey Jack, mozzarella, or pepper jack for a twist.
  • Great with a side salad, roasted vegetables, or soup.
  • Make ahead and refrigerate unbaked rolls up to 12 hours; bake straight from fridge with slightly longer cook time.
