Ingredients
Pasta:
- 8 ounces rotini or penne pasta
Chicken:
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped
Salad:
- 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup croutons
Dressing:
- ½ cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Optional:
- Extra Caesar dressing for drizzling
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain, rinse under cold water, and set aside to cool.
- Saute Chicken: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the cooked chicken with garlic powder and black pepper. Saute for added flavor.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, chopped chicken, romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese. Pour in the Caesar dressing and toss together until well coated.
- Add Crunch: Just before serving, stir in the croutons. Drizzle with extra dressing if desired and serve chilled or at room temperature.
