Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Pasta:
- 12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or preferred type)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley, for garnish
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta in salted water, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- Cook the Chicken: Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, then pour in cream. Simmer, add Parmesan and seasoning until thickened.
- Combine and Serve: Toss pasta in sauce, adding reserved water as needed. Add chicken, mix well. Serve garnished with parsley and red pepper flakes.
