Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie recommended)
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 packet ranch seasoning (or homemade equivalent)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 2 green onions, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked chicken, bacon, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of cheese over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and the casserole is bubbling around the edges.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
