Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thin
 - 2 cups broccoli florets
 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
 - 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
 - 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
 - 1 tablespoon water
 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
 - 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 - Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, water, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
 - Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
 - Add chicken slices, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
 - Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil to the skillet. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
 - Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Add a splash of water if needed to steam slightly.
 - Return chicken to the skillet and pour in the sauce. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
 - Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes
- You can substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp for a variation.
 - Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
 - Use fresh broccoli for best texture, but frozen can be used in a pinch.
