  • 5 cups rice or corn Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Coating and Toppings

  • 1 box (3.4 ounces) instant cheesecake pudding mix (dry)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried cherries or cherry-flavored candy bits


Instructions

  1. Prepare Cereal: Place Chex cereal in a large bowl.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips with cream cheese and butter in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  3. Coat Cereal: Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Prepare Coating: In a large zip-top bag, combine cheesecake pudding mix and powdered sugar.
  5. Coat Cereal Again: Add the coated cereal to the bag, seal, and shake well until fully coated.
  6. Add Toppings: Spread the puppy chow on a baking sheet to cool. Once set, mix in the freeze-dried cherries or candy bits.
  7. Store: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
