Description

These Cheesy Tostadas with Lettuce and Sauce are a delicious and easy-to-make Mexican-inspired dish that is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Crispy tostada shells topped with flavorful refried beans, melted cheddar cheese, fresh veggies, and a zesty sauce.


Ingredients

Tostada Shells:

  • 8 tostada shells

Cheese Layer:

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Refried Beans:

  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce or taco sauce

Toppings:

  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
