Description

This Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole with Ground Beef and Rotel is a comforting and satisfying dish perfect for a family dinner. Layers of seasoned ground beef, creamy sauce, melted cheddar cheese, and crispy tater tots make for a deliciously indulgent meal.


Ingredients

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (10-ounce) can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Tater Tot Layer:

  • 1 (28-ounce) bag frozen tater tots


Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Beef: Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet, drain fat, then add seasonings, Rotel, and soup. Stir in 1 cup of cheese.
  3. Layer and Bake: Spread beef mixture in the dish, top with tater tots, and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden. Sprinkle remaining cheese and bake until melted.
