Description

Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage is a hearty, comforting dish made with crispy roasted potatoes, smoky sausage, and melted cheese, all flavored with savory ranch seasoning.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, quartered
  • 14 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the quartered potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning mix, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 25 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced smoked sausage to the baking sheet, mix gently, and roast for an additional 15-20 minutes, until potatoes are tender and sausage is browned.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the hot potato and sausage mixture and return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped green onions, if using. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use any variety of smoked sausage (turkey, beef, pork).
  • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
  • Use pre-shredded cheese for convenience or shred your own for better melting.
