A rich and comforting casserole made with frozen hash browns, diced ham, cheddar cheese, and a creamy base, perfect for brunch, dinner, or potlucks.
Ingredients
- 1 (32 oz) bag frozen hash browns
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups diced ham
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine frozen hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onion, diced ham, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh chives if desired.

- Use hash browns directly from the freezer for best texture.
