Description

Golden, fluffy rolls filled with gooey cheese and finished with aromatic garlic butter, these Cheesy Garlic Butter Roll Ups are a perfect snack, appetizer, or side dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent dough onto a lightly floured surface and pinch any seams together to form a smooth rectangle.
  2. Evenly scatter the shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough, followed by Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning (if using).
  3. Starting from the long edge, roll the dough into a tight cylinder, then slice it into 1 to 1.5-inch pieces.
  4. Melt the butter in a small bowl and stir in the minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter generously over the rolls.
  5. Arrange the roll ups in a greased baking dish or on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up. Top with fresh parsley as soon as they come out of the oven.

Notes

  • Feel free to use different cheeses like cheddar, provolone, or pepper jack for a variation.
  • For extra freshness, sprinkle additional parsley or Parmesan before serving.
  • These roll ups are great with marinara sauce for dipping.
