Description
Golden, fluffy rolls filled with gooey cheese and finished with aromatic garlic butter, these Cheesy Garlic Butter Roll Ups are a perfect snack, appetizer, or side dish for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, finely minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent dough onto a lightly floured surface and pinch any seams together to form a smooth rectangle.
- Evenly scatter the shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough, followed by Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning (if using).
- Starting from the long edge, roll the dough into a tight cylinder, then slice it into 1 to 1.5-inch pieces.
- Melt the butter in a small bowl and stir in the minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter generously over the rolls.
- Arrange the roll ups in a greased baking dish or on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up. Top with fresh parsley as soon as they come out of the oven.
Notes
- Feel free to use different cheeses like cheddar, provolone, or pepper jack for a variation.
- For extra freshness, sprinkle additional parsley or Parmesan before serving.
- These roll ups are great with marinara sauce for dipping.
