Description

These Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks with Marinara Dip are the ultimate crowd-pleaser, featuring a perfect blend of gooey cheese, savory garlic, and flavorful herbs on a crispy crust. This easy-to-make appetizer is a great addition to any gathering or a delightful snack for a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Dough:

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

Garlic Butter:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Cheese Topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For Serving:

  • 1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. Brush the garlic butter over the entire surface of the dough.
  4. Add Cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the top of the dough.
  5. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Slice and Serve: Let the breadsticks cool slightly, then slice them into sticks. Warm the marinara sauce and serve alongside the breadsticks for dipping.

Notes

  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture for a spicy kick.
  • You can use a blend of cheeses like provolone or fontina for more depth of flavor.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven for a few minutes.
