Description

A comforting and cheesy beef pasta dish that is perfect for busy weeknights. This one-pan meal combines savory ground beef, a rich tomato sauce, and a trio of cheeses for a creamy and flavorful dinner option.


Ingredients

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Sauce and Cheese:

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or water
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare Ground Beef Mixture: Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet until browned. Add garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and tomato paste.
  3. Add Sauce: Stir in tomato sauce and beef broth, then simmer. Add cooked pasta and cheeses, stirring until melted and creamy.
  4. Serve: Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.
