Description

A rich and creamy dish combining tender beef, cheesy goodness, and bowtie pasta for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until softened.
  2. Add minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until beef is browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the Italian seasoning, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. Once the sauce has simmered for 5-7 minutes, stir in the shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the sauce, stirring until the pasta is coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to add more vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • If you prefer a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • For a lighter version, you can use low-fat cheese and substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half.
