Description

Enjoy the classic flavors of a cheeseburger in a comforting meatloaf form with this easy-to-make Cheeseburger Meatloaf recipe.

Ingredients

Meatloaf:

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles (optional)
  • additional ketchup and mustard for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, ketchup, milk, eggs, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and pickles if using. Mix gently until just combined—do not overmix.
  3. Shape and Bake: Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and shape into a loaf. Spread a thin layer of ketchup and mustard on top. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  4. Rest and Serve: Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Add crispy cooked bacon to the mixture for a bacon cheeseburger twist.
  • This meatloaf pairs well with mashed potatoes, fries, or a green salad.
  • Leftovers make great sandwiches.
