Additional Ingredients:
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 fresh jalapeños, finely diced
- 10 cups water
- ⅔ cup baking soda
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Coarse salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Mix flour, salt, and melted butter. Combine with yeast mixture to form a dough. Knead until smooth.
- Rising: Let dough rise for 1 hour until doubled.
