Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin purée
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Additional:

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Stir in pumpkin purée, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until a thick batter forms.
