Description

Indulge in the rich flavors of a caramel macchiato with these easy and delicious overnight oats. Perfect for busy mornings, this make-ahead breakfast is a creamy, coffee-infused treat that will have you looking forward to your alarm clock.

Ingredients

Oats Mixture:

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder or ¼ cup cooled brewed espresso
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt (optional, for creaminess)
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oats: In a medium bowl or jar, combine the oats, chia seeds, espresso powder or brewed espresso, caramel sauce, maple syrup, milk, vanilla extract, Greek yogurt (if using), and salt. Stir well to combine.
  2. Refrigerate: Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  3. Serve: In the morning, stir the oats and add more milk if desired. Top with caramel sauce, sea salt, or espresso beans for garnish. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • You can use decaf espresso if preferred.
  • Adjust sweetness by varying the caramel or syrup amount.
  • Keeps well refrigerated for up to 3 days.
