Description

Indulge in the flavors of fall with these delicious Caramel-Drizzled Apple Cinnamon Cookies. Soft and chewy cookies packed with apples and warm spices, topped with a sweet caramel drizzle.


Ingredients

Dough:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup peeled and finely chopped apple (such as Honeycrisp)

Caramel Drizzle:

  • 1/2 cup soft caramels (melted for drizzle)
  • 1 teaspoon milk (for thinning caramel, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the dough: Cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars. Add egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in chopped apple.
  3. Bake: Scoop dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes until golden.
  4. Drizzle caramel: Melt caramels with milk in the microwave, drizzle over cooled cookies.
