Description

Indulge in the decadent delight of a Caramel Brownie Pie, a luscious marriage of rich chocolate brownie and gooey caramel, all nestled within a flaky pie crust. This dessert is a showstopper for any occasion, from casual gatherings to special celebrations.

Ingredients

Pie Crust:

  • 1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Brownie Filling:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Additional:

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • Flaky sea salt for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare the pie crust: Press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges as desired.
  3. Make the brownie filling: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Layer the pie: Pour half of the brownie batter into the crust. Drizzle caramel sauce over the batter, then spread the remaining batter on top.
  5. Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until the center is set. Let cool before slicing. Drizzle with extra caramel sauce and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.

Notes

  • Use a deep-dish pie crust for a thicker brownie layer.
  • Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgence.
  • Store leftovers at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
