Description

A delightful no-bake dessert salad combining crisp apples, chopped Snickers bars, fluffy whipped cream, and rich caramel sauce. This Caramel Apple Snickers Salad is perfect for a sweet treat that’s easy to prepare and sure to impress with its creamy, crunchy, and fruity flavors.

Ingredients

Fruit

  • 4 crisp apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), washed, cored, and chopped into bite-sized pieces

Mix-ins

  • 6 full-size Snickers bars, chopped

Dressing

  • 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Prepare Apples and Snickers: Wash, core, and chop the apples into small bite-sized pieces. Place them in a large mixing bowl. Add the chopped Snickers bars and gently toss to combine the ingredients evenly.
  2. Make the Whipped Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. This will create a light, sweet cream base to coat the salad.
  3. Combine Salad Mixture: Gently fold the whipped cream into the apple and Snickers mixture until everything is evenly coated with the creamy texture.
  4. Add Caramel Sauce: Drizzle 0.75 cup caramel sauce over the salad and lightly fold again to distribute the caramel flavor throughout the mixture.
  5. Chill: Cover the salad and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and the salad to firm up slightly.
  6. Serve: Just before serving, drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top if desired for extra sweetness and presentation.

Notes

  • To prevent the apples from browning, toss them lightly with lemon juice before mixing.
  • This salad is best served the same day for optimal freshness and texture.
  • You can refrigerate leftovers for up to 24 hours, but the texture may soften slightly over time.
