Description

These Caramel Apple Pretzel Bites are the perfect combination of sweet, salty, and crunchy in one bite-sized treat. Creamy caramel apple filling sandwiched between two pretzels, topped with a drizzle of caramel and white chocolate.

Ingredients

Filling:

  • 1 cup diced apples (peeled and finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)

Assembly:

  • 48 small pretzels
  • ½ cup crushed pretzels (for topping)
  • ½ cup white chocolate or almond bark (melted, optional for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Cook Apple Filling: In a skillet, cook apples, lemon juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon until caramelized. Cool.
  2. Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: Beat cream cheese with caramel sauce. Fold in cooled apples.
  3. Assemble: Sandwich apple mixture between pretzels. Top with crushed pretzels, caramel, and white chocolate.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can make these a day ahead and refrigerate.
  • Use tart apples like Granny Smith for a nice contrast to the sweet caramel.
