Description

Campfire Cones are a delightful twist on the classic s’mores, perfect for outdoor gatherings or cozy nights by the fire. These sweet treats are easy to assemble and customize, making them a fun activity for all ages.

Ingredients

Sugar Cones:

  • 6 sugar cones

Filling:

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries or banana slices (optional)

Additional:

  • Aluminum foil for wrapping

Instructions

  1. Fill Cones: Fill each sugar cone with a mix of mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, crushed graham crackers, and fruit. Press ingredients into the cone to pack it full.
  2. Wrap: Wrap each cone tightly in aluminum foil.
  3. Cook: Place wrapped cones near hot coals or on a grill over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until ingredients are melted and gooey. Unwrap carefully and let cool for 1 minute before serving.

Notes

  • Experiment with different fillings like caramel bits, coconut flakes, or crushed cookies.
  • These can also be baked in the oven at 375°F for 7–10 minutes.
  • Best enjoyed warm right after melting.
