Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ½ tsp baking powder

- ½ tsp salt
Wet Ingredients:
- ¾ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup whole milk
For Frosting:
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional:
- 2 cups fresh strawberries (for filling)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F, grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
