These Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs are a spicy twist on a classic appetizer, featuring creamy deviled egg filling topped with a seasoned shrimp for a flavorful bite.
Ingredients
For the Deviled Eggs:
- 12 large eggs
 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
 - 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
 - 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (plus more for garnish)
 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
For the Shrimp Topping:
- 12 small cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
 - 1 green onion (thinly sliced)
 - Optional hot sauce for garnish
 
Instructions
- Prepare the Eggs: Place eggs in a large pot, cover with water, bring to a boil, then let sit for 10–12 minutes. Peel, slice in half, and remove yolks.
 - Make the Filling: Mash yolks in a bowl, then mix with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
 - Cook the Shrimp: Sauté shrimp with Cajun seasoning in olive oil until cooked through.
 - Assemble: Fill egg white halves with yolk mixture, top with a shrimp, green onions, Cajun seasoning, and hot sauce.
 - Chill: Refrigerate until ready to serve.
 
Notes
- You can use pre-cooked shrimp to save time.
