Description

This Cajun Ranch Dressing is a zesty twist on classic ranch dressing, with a hint of Cajun spice. Creamy and flavorful, it’s perfect for salads, as a dip, or as a sandwich spread.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk (or milk for thinner consistency)

Seasonings:

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dressing: In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
  2. Add Seasonings: Mix in lemon juice, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dill, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Combine until creamy.
  3. Adjust and Chill: Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
  • If using store-bought Cajun seasoning, reduce added salt.
  • Great as a dip or sandwich spread.
