Ingredients

Pretzels:

  • 10 cups mini pretzel twists

Toffee Mixture:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 250°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the pretzels: Spread the pretzels evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Make the toffee: In a medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Boil without stirring for 3 minutes.
  4. Add flavor: Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract and baking soda. Pour over pretzels and toss to coat.
  5. Bake: Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
