buttermilk dosa is my most favorite break fast. buttermilk rice dosa is one of the mouth watering breakfasts. buttermilk dosa is called as majjiga dosa at my home. We will soak the dosa rice along with butter milk & fenugreek seeds for over night to get nice tasty & sponge dosa. You can have buttermilk dosa with ALMOND & GROUNDNUT CHUTNEY / GROUND NUTS CHUTNEY.

Ingredients required for buttermilk dosa or majjiga dosa
- Dosa rice – 1 ½ cup
- Butter milk
- Fenugreek seeds – 8 seeds
- Salt – 1 ½ tbsp
- Water – if needed
- Boiled rice – 4 tbsp
how to make buttermilk dosa with step by step photos
- Wash the dosa rice thoroughly.
- Soak the dosa rice along with butter milk & fenugreek seeds for over night or 6 – 8 hrs.

BUTTERMILK RICE DOSA
- Take a mixy jar add dosa rice, fenugreek seeds, boiled rice, butter milk and them into fine batter.

- The batter consistency should be like dosa batter, if you want add some water.

- Heat a pan, pour ½ large spoon of dosa batter like small uttapa.
- Now add oil around the borders of the dosa.

- Once the borders of the dosa got little golden color then flip the dosa to the other side.
- Now cook the dosa other side too.
- Repeat the same procedure for remaining batter.
