Ingredients
Filling
- 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
- 3 Tbsp bottled ranch dressing
- 3 Tbsp buffalo hot sauce
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Topping
- 1 (10.5-oz) can Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup
- 6 Tbsp milk
- 2 Tbsp buffalo hot sauce
Rolls
- 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls (8-count)
- 1 (4-oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls (4-count)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
- Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chopped chicken, ranch dressing, 3 tablespoons of buffalo hot sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste if desired.
- Assemble the roll ups: Separate the crescent roll dough into 12 triangles. On the wide end of each triangle, spoon an equal amount of the chicken mixture.
- Roll the crescents: Carefully roll up each triangle starting from the wide end over the filling and place seam-side down in the prepared baking dish, arranging them close together in a single layer.
- Bake the rolls: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes until the crescents start to turn golden.
- Prepare and add the sauce: While the rolls bake, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, and the remaining 2 tablespoons of buffalo hot sauce until smooth. After the initial baking, remove the dish from the oven and pour this sauce evenly over the crescent rolls.
- Final bake: Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 25 to 30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the rolls are fully cooked and golden brown.
Notes
- You can add extra shredded cheese on top before the final bake for a cheesier crust.
- Adjust the buffalo hot sauce amount to your preferred spice level.
- Leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven.
