Description

Spicy buffalo chicken and creamy cheese wrapped in soft pretzel dough—these bite-sized snacks are perfect for game day or parties and are guaranteed to vanish fast!


Ingredients

1 lb cooked, shredded chicken (e.g., rotisserie or leftover),4 oz cream cheese, softened,1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (adjust to taste),1 cup shredded cheddar cheese,2 scallions or green onions, thinly sliced,1 package refrigerated pretzel dough or pizza dough (about 16 oz),2 tbsp baking soda,1 egg, beaten (for egg wash),Coarse salt, for sprinkling,Optional: extra cheddar for topping, ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping


Instructions

In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, cheddar cheese, and scallions until smooth and well combined.,Divide dough into 16–20 pieces. Flatten each into a circle and place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center. Seal edges and roll into balls.,Bring a pot of water to a simmer. Add baking soda. Gently boil dough balls for 30 seconds, then remove and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.,Brush each bite with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt.
