  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the Olive Oil and Butter: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Sauté Garlic and Red Pepper Flakes: Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Cook the Shrimp: Add shrimp in a single layer, cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  4. Make the Sauce: Add white wine (or broth), lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and Old Bay seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
