Description

This Brownie Batter Dip is a rich and creamy no-bake dessert dip that tastes just like brownie batter. Made with a combination of cream cheese, butter, sugars, cocoa, and mini chocolate chips, it’s perfect for parties or casual snacking. Serve it with pretzels, graham crackers, strawberries, or vanilla wafers for a decadent treat everyone will love.

Ingredients

Dip Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, heat-treated
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk, more as needed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips, plus extra for garnish

Instructions

  1. Beat Cream Cheese and Butter: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and unsalted butter together until the mixture is smooth and creamy with no lumps.
  2. Add Dry Ingredients and Flavorings: Add the powdered sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, heat-treated flour, vanilla extract, milk, and salt to the bowl. Beat the mixture until all ingredients are well combined and the dip becomes fluffy.
  3. Mix in Chocolate Chips: Stir in the mini chocolate chips evenly throughout the dip. If the consistency is too thick, add additional milk 1 teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Garnish with extra mini chocolate chips if desired. Serve with pretzels, graham crackers, strawberries, or vanilla wafers for dipping.

Notes

  • To make the flour safe to eat, heat-treat it by microwaving for 30–60 seconds until it reaches 165°F, or bake it at 350°F for 5 minutes.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
