Description

A quick and luxurious dish featuring tender broiled lobster tails drenched in a rich, garlicky butter sauce with hints of cream and lemon.

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails, split open
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your broiler and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut down the center of each lobster tail shell and gently pull the meat on top of the shell.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika. Simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Place lobster tails on the baking sheet and spoon the garlic butter sauce generously over each.
  6. Broil for 8–10 minutes until the meat is opaque and slightly browned.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • To make it spicy, add cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the butter sauce.
  • Top with grated Parmesan before broiling for a cheesy crust.
  • For a citrus twist, add orange or lime zest along with the lemon juice.
  • Use room-temperature butter for smoother blending into the sauce.
