Description

A delightful and colorful broccoli salad that combines crunchy broccoli florets with sweet cranberries, savory bacon, and a creamy dressing. Perfect for picnics, potlucks, or as a refreshing side dish.


Ingredients

Fresh Broccoli Salad:

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 6 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Creamy Dressing:

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Prepare Salad: In a large bowl, mix broccoli, carrots, cranberries, sunflower seeds, red onion, bacon, and cheddar cheese.
  2. Make Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Combine: Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat. Chill for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for some or all of the mayonnaise.
