Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
- Toppings: fresh blueberries, banana slices, extra peanut butter, granola, chia seeds, edible flowers (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients. For extra-thick texture, use frozen banana and berries.
- Add oats, frozen blueberries, banana, peanut butter, and 1/2 cup milk to a high-powered blender.
- Blend until smooth and thick, scraping down as needed. Add a splash more milk if it’s too stiff.
- Taste and blend in honey/maple syrup if desired. Stir in chia seeds if using.
- Pour into a bowl. Swirl in peanut butter, then add toppings: fresh berries, banana slices, granola, chia seeds.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Use fresh blueberries plus ice if frozen berries aren’t available.
- Substitute sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
